She didn’t come with a name so we have given her one Goldie because her sweet and gentle soul. She loves to be held and cuddles and gives little kisses. 11/2/26-Goldie is doing well but still very nervous. She is eating well and sleeping very well, but still not warming up to my dogs yet. We are going to try a pack walk today to see if that helps her shyness. Despite her underbite her teeth are lovely bright white & nothing wrong with them. She sure eats great with them. Lol 10/31/26-Goldie is doing well just a bit nervous. She is unsure about my dogs and we are taking our time. Goldie does growl when my girls approach the crate so I think she needs a few more days to adjust to my dogs. Today is her bath day so we can have her at her best for photos. Just so you know she loves to be held and cuddled. She is a very loving dog. 10/30/26-Goldie is a 4 year old tiny female toy Goldendoodle (toy poodle/Golden Retriever). She came from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. Even though the breeder said several times she is a Goldendoodle, Goldie doesn’t seem to have much poodle traits & has an underbite, just doesn’t look like the typical breed. Only a DNA test by her new owner will tell for sure but no matter what she is, Goldie is a darling girl. She is Lyme positive (tick borne infection, not contagious to other pets or people). She is on antibiotics to clear up the lyme. She has her pre-spay appointment on Wednesday 11/4 & we will set her spay after that. Once she is spayed & we get to know her better she will be ready for her new home.
