About Bessie
Bessie is a remarkable girl searching for an adopter who truly understands her needs. Affectionate and playful, she originally came to PACC with a friend in 2020. In her previous home, she was house trained and her owners described her as sweet and loving, with a penchant for hot dogs and snuggling. Despite being adopted twice after her first return to the shelter, Bessie is still on the hunt for her perfect match. In her last home, she got along well with both large and small dogs and was again described as a sweet, playful companion who enjoys squeaky toys. This lovely girl does, however, struggle with meeting new people while on a leash, so she requires a patient, experienced owner to guide her. Once Bessie warms up, sheโs incredibly loyal and affectionate. A calm, stable home environment would benefit her greatly, as sheโs not suited for constant activity or visitors. She shares her kennel with other pups, but she'll need an introduction to any resident dogs. If you can provide the understanding and stability Bessie needs, please reach out to ask about her today!
