About Chico

Chico is an athletic, bouncy pup eager to be your adventure buddy. Recently, he took a day trip from the shelter to explore Tucson and even enjoyed a pup cup. He showed himself to be a car ride champ—energetic, sweet, and well-behaved. One volunteer noted, "Chico is a character! He loves to roll around on his back in the cool grass," and his goofy charm shines through when he flops over after sitting on command. While he gets excited on walks and may pull on the leash occasionally, he's a great companion who loves to explore. Plus, he's a big fan of a full-body dunk in the doggy pool, so a pool at home would be ideal! Chico has shared his kennel with ease and plays well with other dogs in group settings. If you're looking for a fun-loving pal to join you on your journeys, Chico is the one you want to meet today!
