About Panda

Meet Panda! This sweet, 7-year-old gentleman has been thriving in foster care for the past year and is ready to find a patient, understanding home of his own. He may be shy initially and can be easily startled by new people and situations, but once he decides you're his person, his loyal and affectionate personality shines through. Panda will happily follow you from room to room, leaning in for pets and absolutely melting for a good butt scratch. He’s a quiet companion, alerting you when someone arrives or passes by the house before settling down. Panda would do best in a calm environment with an older or low-energy adopter who can help him build confidence at his own pace. While he did fine around a 2-year-old child, he’d be happiest with older children who understand how to respect his space since he can react out of fear when startled. He enjoys the company of other dogs and does best with a canine companion, especially when left home alone. In his foster home, he has dog friends and access to a dog door, and he’s been relaxed and house-trained with no accidents. Panda is also a pleasant walking buddy, strolling politely on a leash and rarely pulling unless frightened. This quirky little guy isn't interested in toys but loves observing the neighborhood, spending time near the people he trusts. He sleeps happily on his dog bed but wouldn't mind sharing yours. Panda is eating Pedigree kibble and will need an adopter committed to his ongoing medical care, including future dental work and treatment for chronic ear infections. If you're looking for a devoted companion who rewards patience with unwavering loyalty, this special boy could be the perfect match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
