About Doug

Doug is a delightful dog who's been on quite the journey since arriving at the shelter in late 2024. Initially found stray, he quickly proved to be a friendly and engaging companion, well-behaved around nine-year-old kids and house trained. Doug has spent time in a foster home where he was described as goofy, loyal, and a fantastic walking partner. He loves playing and cuddling, displaying a knack for learning quickly and listening well. Doug is fond of snoozing in his crate or on the couch and enjoys chewing on toys like rope and antlers. Back at PACC, he’s earned a fan club thanks to his sweet personality and willingness to engage during walks. Doug is an attentive walker, responding to his handler's cues and checking in often. This happy boy is not only affectionate, with his wagging tail and joyful demeanor, but also enjoys treats and gentle petting. He would love to meet any resident dogs to ensure a good fit before heading to his forever home. Join the Doug fan club and ask to meet this charming pup today!
