MEET SANTOS A511996— A 107-LB GENTLE GIANT WHO DESERVES A CHANCE! Santos is an 8-year-old, 107-lb Presa Canario who was surrendered on 10/7, and this handsome best boy has so much love left to give. Despite his size, Santos is a total sweetheart. He’s gentle, affectionate, and has a contagious happiness especially when there are people around to love on him! He was even excited to meet a smaller dog through the fence. He’s a loyal, loving companion who already knows sit and paw, walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and takes care of business outside right away. Unfortunately, Santos has some extra hurdles to overcome. His age and giant size mean he needs people to look past the numbers and see the incredible dog standing in front of them. This good boy deserves so much more than a kennel at this stage of his life. He deserves a soft, cozy couch, a family to call his own, and someone to shower him with the love he so happily gives in return. Remember - big dogs have even bigger hearts and so much love to give. Please SHARE SANTOS. With the odds stacked against him, getting his face and story out there could make all the difference. Let’s help this sweet gentleman find his family and spend this next chapter exactly where he belongs — HOME. Please note: The shelter can be a stressful and scary place, and a dog’s behavior here may not fully reflect how they’ll blossom once they feel safe and decompressed at home. Santos is available for adoption or foster at: Prince George’s County Animal Services 3750 Brown Station Rd Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 Reel: https://facebook.com/share/r/1AK19oS65k/?mibextid=wwXIfr
