About Birdie

Meet Birdie. Birdie is an adorable 30-pound brindle girl who found herself as a stray in the county shelter. The moment we saw her one-of-a-kind smile, we knew we had to help her. While Birdie has some health challenges, including multiple mammary tumors and bloodwork that’s a bit off, she’s a special girl who deserves a loving home. Surgery isn’t an option due to her inability to undergo anesthesia, but we believe she has enough good days ahead to enjoy a real home, a soft bed, and the affection she craves. Now in foster care, Birdie is revealing her charming personality. She cohabitates well with another dog, enjoying some slow and proper introductions. Mostly, she’s a professional couch potato, relishing her favorite napping spots, with the occasional lap around the yard. Birdie is looking for a home without cats or young children, where she can relax and enjoy life to the fullest. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, easygoing girl with the cutest smile around, Birdie might just be your girl. Let’s find her that perfect place to land and feel truly loved.
