Bishop is an approximately six-year-old, 67-pound Labradoodle with a wonderfully scruffy face, a sweet personality, and plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life! Bishop recently came to us through an owner surrender because his energy level was more than his previous home could manage. He's an active, fun-loving fellow who enjoys getting out and doing things, although he can be a little shy in unfamiliar situations. Considering how much his world has changed, that's understandable. Bishop is still getting his bearings, and we're giving him the opportunity to settle in and show us more of his personality. We're looking for an active household that will appreciate Bishop's enthusiasm and provide regular exercise, enrichment, and a consistent routine. He has plenty of life left to enjoy and would love someone to share it with! And let's talk about all that hair! Bishop is one fuzzy, fuzzy fellow, and keeping that handsome, shaggy coat healthy will require some commitment. His future family will need to be prepared for regular brushing, professional grooming appointments, and the ongoing care that comes with having a Labradoodle. Bishop is fully vetted, has been heartworm tested, is up to date on his vaccinations, and has been started on preventatives. From what we've seen so far, Bishop seems to get along with everyone! He has only just arrived, so we're still getting to know each other, but he's available for meet-and-greets. An approved adoption application is required, and Bishop will need to meet all family members, including any four-legged family members he'll be sharing a home with.
