Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NTR/Dog Meet Peanut – Big Energy, Big Personality, and Endless Potential! Peanut is a 1-year-old bundle of energy, intelligence, and personality who is looking for a family that will appreciate everything that makes him special! Peanut was adopted as a puppy, but unfortunately found himself back at the shelter. We suspect his high energy level may have been more than his previous family was prepared for. Now, this handsome boy has been given another chance to find a home that truly understands him and can give him the active lifestyle he deserves! Peanut is smart, athletic, playful, and FULL of energy! He's the kind of dog who doesn't just want to sit around watching life happen — he wants to be right in the middle of the action! If you're looking for a running partner, hiking companion, or even a dog to get involved in agility training, Peanut could be an amazing match! He's incredibly athletic and has the energy and intelligence to excel at activities that challenge both his body and his mind. Now, we'll be the first to admit that Peanut has a bit of a stubborn streak! He's a very smart boy who sometimes has his own ideas about how things should be done. But with patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and an adopter who enjoys training, that intelligence can be channeled into something wonderful. Peanut would thrive with an active person or family who understands that a tired dog isn't just a physically exercised dog — mental stimulation is just as important! He needs someone willing to invest time in training, enrichment, and adventures. Peanut isn't a couch potato, and he isn't going to be the right fit for everyone. But for someone looking for an energetic, intelligent, adventurous companion, he could be absolutely perfect! Peanut doesn't need someone to change who he is. He needs someone who will embrace his potential and help him become the incredible dog he's capable of being. He's already experienced what it's like to lose a home. Let's make sure his next one is forever! Interested in adopting Peanut? Apply today!
