Meet Sunny D, a 4-year-old Pit Bull who is looking for a loving home where she can finally relax and decompress. Sunny can be a little timid in new situations, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality shines through. She enjoys pets, eagerly takes treats, knows how to sit for rewards, and has been described as rubbing against people like a cat while soaking up attention. Sunny walks well overall, though she can be enthusiastic on leash and loves meeting new people. She has shown friendly interest in other dogs, approaching them with a relaxed body, wagging tail, and excitement when passing canine neighbors. A home would give Sunny the quiet environment she needs to unwind, show her true personality, and leave the stress of the shelter behind. If you can provide a calm place for this sweet girl to rest and recharge, Sunny would love the chance.
