About Simba

Meet Simba! He has been patiently waiting at the shelter for the right adopter to come along. You're welcome to visit our cat rooms during open hours, and our staff and volunteers are eager to help you get to know him better. Simba is sometimes overlooked because of his age. While kittens and younger cats often find homes quickly, senior cats like him take a bit longer to get adopted. But a senior cat makes for an especially rewarding companion; they tend to be extra grateful for the second chance at a loving home. Simba is diabetic, and his future adopter will need to collaborate closely with a veterinarian to keep his condition regulated. While the prospect of adopting a diabetic cat may seem intimidating, managing it is relatively simple once it's under control. The love and affection he'll offer in return makes it all worthwhile. Let’s give Simba the best retirement home he deserves. Start your journey together! Apply now.
