Meet Cheddar. The Tri-Color beagle with a heart of gold. She's starting to open up to us, her sweet and affectionate personality shining through. When Cheddar first arrived, she was injured and had seemingly just recently given birth to pups. She had laid outside the home of the person who found her in the same spot all night and all day. When we arrived to pick her up, she was shy, curled in on herself and all around petrified. Her wounds have since been treated and she's back on her feet. Even jumping with joy to see us come up to her kennel! She no longer wants to hide in the back in a ball, she wants to be where the action is at. Going far enough as to be yelling if you're not giving her enough attention, which is truly, all she wants. She's healed a lot since she's arrived and would love to continue healing alongside a new home who will treat her right. Cheddar is currently believed to be around seven years old and weighs 32lbs.
