Sarge is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Sarge can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Sarge is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. Meet Sarge! Age: 5 months old (as of November 5) Gender: Male Breed Mix: Possible Shepherd / Cattle Dog Mix Size: Currently around 30 lbs (projected to be a medium-sized dog) Sarge is a handsome, sweet-natured young pup who is ready to report for duty as your new best friend! He and his siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road out in the country a few months ago. Since coming into rescue, Sarge has proven to be a resilient, wonderful boy. (Fun fact: all of his siblings look wildly different, making his unique mix a cute little mystery!) Personality & Highlights: Friendly & Good-Natured: Sarge has a great puppy disposition—playful, sweet, and always ready to make new friends. More of a calm, laid back personality. Leash & Crate Trained: He is learning walking on a leash and handles his time in a crate just fine! Great with Other Dogs: Sarge gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves having canine playmates around to wrestle and run with. Kids & Cats: Because he is so young, gentle, and adaptable, we don't anticipate any issues with cats or kids in his forever home! Ready to Learn: While he isn't fully housebroken just yet, he is a smart pup who will catch on quickly with a consistent routine. If you are looking for a handsome, fun-loving boy to complete your family, Sarge is ready to march right into your heart!
