About Bertie

Meet Bertie, a gentle soul in search of a patient heart to help him flourish. This sweet boy is shy, quiet, and sensitive, embodying a lovable spirit that needs a little time to blossom. His superpower is being an expert hider, yet he slowly tunes in to your voice, showing his trust in soft whispers and slow blinks. He enjoys low-stakes playtime and will transform into a loyal, purring companion, given the right environment. Bertie thrives in a safe space, where he can take his time to warm up to you; his heart beats for kitty treats, which serve as the pathway to his affection. Currently, Bertie is in a loving foster home. To inquire about him or arrange a visit, please reach out to his foster parent, Tatiana, at tatiana.stevenson.uchstudent@gmail.com. Be prepared for a meet-and-greetโ€”itโ€™s a required step before adoption. Adopters should ideally be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference will be given to those who can meet sooner. For everyone's safety, current pets cannot meet Bertie before the adoption process is finalized. After a successful meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby to complete the paperwork and make Bertie a part of your family. This could be the start of something paw-some.
