Logan (A570557) may be shy at first, but don't let him fool you! He initially arrived here as a stray this week after being found wandering in the city of Huntsville with no sign of an owner besides a collar without any identification. Now, he has landed on our adoption floor and is hoping for a new home where he may never become lost again. Logan is initially a little shy when you approach him in his kennel, but if you just let him approach you slowly, he warms up pretty fast! Treats help him warm up even quicker. In fact, as soon as the treats come out his guy is going crazy and attempting to do every trick in the book to get you to give him one. He knows sit, but seems to be familiar with down and shake, but he won't do them reliably enough to say he truly knows them yet. When it comes to toys, Logan likes the ones that squeak the most. He LOVES to roughhouse, so he will need a family that can keep up with him. From what we've observed, he is pretty good on a leash and will make a great companion for walks. Logan has been tested with other dogs and did well. He hasn't been seen actually engaging in play much, but that much change as he opens up or goes into a more comfortable environment. Logan is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered and given a 30 day flea/tick preventative. Ready to meet Logan?
