Peewee has a cheerful habit of carrying something over to show his people, often a shoe. His foster reports that he carries rather than destroys his finds and gives them up when asked. This 7-month-old puppy enjoys toys, playing with other dogs, and spending time with the children he has met. He can be shy with unfamiliar people, but once comfortable, he becomes affectionate and enjoys curling up on the couch beside his favorite companions. Peewee’s foster reports that he is crate trained, keeps his space clean, and sometimes chooses his crate bed for a nap. He is making progress with housetraining when taken outside regularly and after meals. Treats are exciting, so he needs continued practice accepting them gently. He is experienced with dogs and children; his compatibility with cats is unknown. Peewee is currently in foster care, not at the shelter. To arrange a meeting, email adoptions@indy.gov.
