About Sierra
Meet Sierra, a lovely 7-year-old tortoiseshell cat weighing about 10 lbs. After being adopted a few months ago from a Texas shelter, she finds herself in need of a new home due to circumstances with her previous owner. Sierra is not compatible with other cats and has had some tense encounters with them, which makes finding her a new place urgent. Sierra is an independent and playful girl who enjoys simple pleasures like chasing wand toys and curling up in cozy spots. She gets along well with children and has great house mannersβshe uses her litter box reliably and prefers her scratching post to the furniture. Sierra may initially be shy with newcomers, often preferring to hide, but with some time and patience, she'll reveal her sweet, affectionate personality. For her happiness, a home where she can be the sole pet, with no competitive furry companions, would be ideal. Currently, she is part of our Home-to-Home Surrender Program, with an adoption fee of $125. Sierra is already vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. You can meet her in Ellington, CT, where she's still with her owner. If you feel drawn to Sierra, please consider filling out an application!
