About Kong

Kong is back and ready for a fresh start. This unique boy combines the solid build of a Staffordshire with the scruffy charm of a Wire-Haired Terrier. Sadly, he returned to us after being surrendered by his owner due to housing issues. He came back 40 lbs heavier than when he left and could use some support in getting back to a healthier weight. Kong's personality is as easygoing as they come. He’s a calm, gentle spirit who walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, content to meander at his own leisurely pace while exploring new smells. While he used to enjoy tossing around toys, these days he prefers relaxation over fetch. He’s great with kids and other dogs, and comes with fantastic house manners; he is housebroken, kennel trained, and leash trained. With his charming looks and laid-back nature, Kong is looking for a second chance at a forever home. He’s eager to find someone willing to give him the love and care he deserves.
