Josie is a charming little mixed breed dog who’s all about love and companionship. This affectionate girl found herself in a tough spot, losing her family due to their lack of time. Thankfully, a wonderful foster in Georgia rescued her from a high-kill shelter and cared for her until she joined our rescue in Long Island. At about 2 years old and under 17 lbs, Josie is perfect for an adult home or a household with older kids. She appears house trained and has a medium-length coat in a lovely apricot/beige color. Josie craves a lap to sit in and a family to cherish her as much as she would cherish them. She is eager to give love in return and deserves a forever home with people who understand the commitment required for a lifetime.
