Meet Lena — Your New Best Friend! Lena is a 2-year-old sweetheart with so much love to give! She has a gentle, loving personality, no known medical issues, and has enjoyed being super playful with her foster sister, Daisy! Lena is a sensitive girl who needs a little extra patience and understanding. She can become frightened when having her leash put on and has even tinkled from being scared. However, once she’s outside, she does great! She has shown no aggression during leashing, just fear. She did great with her first bath- a little hesitant but was a very good girl. She is able to be crated overnight but prefers to cuddle or sleep on the couch. She is extremely sweet even with strangers. She is showing resource guarding behaviors and will protext her toys and food. She would do best with a home with no other animals until this behavior is addressed. Lena would thrive with a gentle, patient owner and a mostly calm, structured household where she can build confidence, feel secure, and learn to trust at her own pace. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of love, Lena has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion!
