Meet Draco! This handsome boy has a happy, friendly personality and an independent streak. He loves getting out to explore, sniffing around and taking in his surroundings. He enjoys affection and pets but is also happy wandering off on his own little adventures. Draco has shown positive interest in other dogs and is social with them on his own terms. He's a little timid at first but gets along well with gentle playmates. He's a strong leash walker, so continued leash training would be helpful. If you're looking for a friendly, curious companion who enjoys exploring at his own pace, Draco could be your guy! Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing this dog, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov as soon as possible. When emailing, be sure to include a callback phone number so our team can contact you promptly.
