Ace is a 10-year-old, 112-pound senior who enjoys taking life at a slower pace! This laid-back guy appreciates attention, especially a good scratch, and happily accepts treats from his human friends. He's been easy to leash and walks nicely without pulling. During his time outside, Ace enjoyed exploring independently and appeared to be potty trained. He may be a great match for someone looking for a calm, low-key companion. Due to his history with a small pet, Ace needs a home without small animals. Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing this dog, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov as soon as possible. When emailing, be sure to include a callback phone number so our team can contact you promptly.
