Little Foot may not be a little guy, but he certainly thinks he is much smaller than he really is! This guy is a big love bug that arrived at the shelter as an underweight stray. He currently weighs in at 89 pounds but should weigh a bit more, he has slowly been gaining weight since his arrival at the shelter. When he arrived, it was clear that Little Foot had wandered for quite a bit as his paw pads were sore and ulcerated. They have since healed and he is getting around much better now! He has also had bloodwork done to ensure that his lower weight was not due to an underlaying illness. It has also been noted that he does drag his back left leg a little when he is walking but is on a joint supplement to help his joints stay healthy. Little Foot will need a home that is experienced with very large dogs and prepared for keeping such a big guy happy and healthy! Little Foot has done well here at the shelter and would love to find his loving forever home! He must meet all family members that reside in the home and any children in the home must be used to very large dogs! He did test well with the cats here at the shelter but a slow introduction with cats in the home is recommended until a relationship is established. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested (negative), and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
