Missy is a spirited 4-year-old girl with plenty of energy and personality! She enjoys spending time with people, welcomes affection and greets her human friends with a wagging tail. She's also shown good leash manners, though she occasionally pulls when something catches her attention. Missy has a playful side and enjoys being active, but she prefers gentle introductions with other dogs and can become overwhelmed during interactions. Because she's had some challenging moments in playgroup, careful introductions and thoughtful management around other dogs will be important. If you're looking for an energetic companion who enjoys attention and adventure, come meet Missy! Missy is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. The shelter is currently over capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Missy would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner. Please email dasadopt@dallas.gov if interested in fostering or adopting. Please provide your full name and phone number.
