Apple is a sweet, sensitive boy who may need a little time and patience to feel comfortable in new surroundings. When he first arrived, he was timid and a bit unsure, but treats are a great way to win him over! He can be handled, and while he is still building confidence with a leash, gentle encouragement and a patient approach will help him along. With other dogs, Apple has shown a lovely social side. He enjoys friendly greetings, solicits attention, and does well with gentle canine company. After recently undergoing successful surgery to remove his injured tail, Apple is now recovering and would love a calm, comfortable place to rest and heal.
