About Copper

Meet Copper, a young adult male lab mix in need of urgent adoption. We found this sweet boy on the freeway, and while he may have been hit by a car, he is in good spirits and getting better every day. Copper weighs around 77 lbs and is currently recovering from hairline fractures in his left hind leg. Thankfully, these fractures are minimally displaced and should heal well with strict cage rest and pain management. Copper will thrive in a quiet, low-activity home as he recuperates for the next 6-8 weeks. He is bright and stable, capable of getting around on all fours, but still requires monitoring during his recovery. This lovable guy is already neutered and ready for a fresh start. If you think you could provide the calm environment he needs, Copper would be grateful for your help. Start your journey together! Apply now.
