**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Agatha! For some, a second chance takes a little longer, but in the end, it's always worth the wait. Agatha was abandoned by her owner and surviving alongside the unhoused community when we found her. After being hit by a car, she finally made it into our care, where she has been able to make a full recovery. When Agatha first arrived, she had severe skin issues. Now, she proudly sports a shiny black coat and floppy ears to match. Agatha can be a little shy at first, and may take a number of meet and greets before she is willing to approach a new person. Once she gets to know you, however, she becomes the most devoted companion. Nothing makes Agatha happier than seeing her favorite people as she'll bounce up and down with excitement to greet them. Agatha would do well in a home with children ages 8 and older due to her size and energy level. She participates in daily playgroups with her best friend, Beckham, at our kennel facility, and has the potential to live with a dog who matches her play style. Agatha has waited many years for her second chance, and she's done the hard part by healing. Now all she needs is someone to give her the forever home she's been waiting for. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
