MEET SAMPSON! OUR HANDSOME, HIGH-ENERGY GOLDENDOODLE! Sampson just celebrated his FIRST birthday in October, and this gorgeous, all-black Goldendoodle (Standard Poodle/Golden Retriever mix) is ready to find his forever family! Sampson is an incredibly sweet boy who LOVES his person. He bonds deeply with his humans and wants nothing more than to be part of their world. But here’s the thing about Sampson... he’s ONE! And he’s got the energy to prove it! Looking for a running partner? Sampson! Love long hikes through the woods? Sampson! Need someone to chase tennis balls until your throwing arm gives out? Definitely Sampson! Sampson needs an ACTIVE home with people who genuinely enjoy getting outside and doing things with their dog. A fenced-in yard would be wonderful, but we want to be clear: A fenced yard is NOT a babysitter! Sampson doesn’t need someone to open the back door and send him outside to entertain himself. He needs someone who will go OUTSIDE WITH HIM! Throw the ball, play games, run around, and enjoy life together! Other dogs? Yes! Sampson enjoys other dogs, but because he’s a bundle of energy, his ideal canine playmate would be one who can match his enthusiasm. Cats? Sampson can coexist with cats, but if a cat takes off running, he may think the chase is on! He has not shown an intent to hurt cats, but any introductions should be supervised and managed appropriately. Grooming? Absolutely! Being a Goldendoodle means Sampson will require regular professional grooming and coat maintenance. His future family needs to be prepared for that lifelong commitment. And underneath all that youthful enthusiasm? An incredibly loving, affectionate boy who forms strong attachments to his people. Sampson has so much love to give. He just needs someone willing to give him the time, exercise, attention, and guidance a young, energetic dog deserves. Sampson isn’t looking for a backyard. He’s looking for an ADVENTURE PARTNER! This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state.
