Meet Schnitzel! This 1-year-old, 17-pound Dachshund is a little lovebug who believes every lap was made just for him! He loves people and will happily crawl into your lap to get as close as possible. Schnitzel has done great with the other dogs here, but people are his absolute favorite! Dachshunds are known for being affectionate, clever, curious, and brave-with a little stubborn streak to keep life interesting. Big personalities in long, low packages! This sweet boy is ready for a family to love and a lap to call his own. Schnitzel is an Ambassador Dog! His higher adoption fee helps cover medical care for other rescue dogs who need extra treatment to get their happily ever after.
