FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED. STILL AT ANIMAL Hi everyone, I’m Laverne! I’m a petite bully mix with a big personality, and lots of love to give! I’m a friendly, happy girl who loves getting attention and spending time with people. I’m also a fan of other dogs! I came into rescue with my friend Shirley, and while we enjoy each other’s company, I think I’d be perfectly happy finding a family of my very own. I’m still working on my basic commands and could use some help brushing up on my listening skills. I can get pretty excited, so a family willing to continue my training and help me learn some good manners would be wonderful. The good news? I’ve already mastered quite a few things! * I’m potty trained and crate trained. * I’m dog friendly. * I’m kid friendly. * I walk nicely on a leash. I do have one little quirk you should know about. I can get a bit possessive over toys that I bring into my kennel, so I’ll need some management and guidance around high-value toys. Nylabones are perfectly fine for me in my kennel, and I’m happy to come out when asked so my people can retrieve anything I’ve brought inside. My history suggests I may have spent quite a bit of time in a kennel, so I’m looking forward to discovering everything life has to offer outside of one.
