Poppy was at the Meade County Animal Shelter for nine months and sadly had no interest in all that time! Of course living in a shelter was tough and she began losing hope. Luckily, an amazing volunteer took her in as a temporary foster and gave her a new outlook, and Poppy showed everyone what a wonderful little girl she is! The timing lined up to when she had to go back to the shelter, ARC was able to bring her in. Now Poppy is settling in and getting to know our staff, volunteers and the routine. From what she demonstrated in her foster home, Poppy is good with other dogs, cats, chickens and kids! She is sweet, lovable and playful! She loves to be outdoors playing, running and exploring. After her daily outing, she is all too happy to curl up and snuggle for a good movie or streaming the latest episodes of your favorite show! Check out the video her foster made of their time together, https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18qDQkKoGR/ Interested in meeting Poppy?
