Meet Peanut! Peanut came into our care after being found as a stray and brought to safety by our wonderful friends at GoodBoy Dog Recovery. Peanut was originally purchased from a puppy mill, by someone who gifted them to their friend who had just lost their dog. The friend was not ready for another dog, and quickly realized Peanut was extremely ill and needed help that she could not financially afford. Our partners at GoodBoy Dog Recovery stepped up without hesitation, and peanut found himself critically ill in a vet hospital just two days after being purchased from a puppy mill. He has made a full recovery, after suffering from juvenile hypoglycemia. We provided him all the care he needed upon intake, and while we don't have any information about his past, we are confident he is ready to find his true forever home! All of our animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, and any other necessary medical care. After adoption, dogs need time to adjust to their new homes and thrive with families who can provide exercise, enrichment, positive reinforcement training, and socialization.
