Zuna is a 10-year-old spayed female Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She has a large build and a stunning golden short coat. Zuna is housetrained and has her vaccinations up to date. Located in Paradise, TX, she would thrive in an adult home as the cherished only dog, though she can be good with other dogs given the right introductions.

About Zuna

Zuna is a ten-and-a-half-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who still has a youthful spirit. Despite her senior status, she remains more active than many younger dogs. She spent the last three years with a loving couple, but due to health issues, she has returned to TIRR Rescue. Zuna will undergo knee surgery on September 28, 2026, and a supportive foster home during her recovery and rehabilitation would be a great help. Potential fosters should be warned: her charm can easily lead to wanting to adopt her! As an only dog, she thrives on attention, though she is open to sharing her space with other dogs when introduced properly. With a vocal personality, Zuna is never shy about expressing her opinions. She is crate trained and enjoys her crate for downtime. This affectionate companion excels in an adult household where she can truly shine. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Zuna, or helping with her surgery cost, visit TIRR Rescue for more information.
