About Grey
Grey is a wonderful young American Bulldog currently at our rescue in Tarrytown, GA. He will be transported to New Jersey on November 12 and is set to be available for adoption over the weekend of November 14-15. In August 2026, Grey was surrendered after suffering from multiple non-venomous snake bites. The bites caused significant swelling and infection, leading to some scarring on the right side of his face. Thankfully, after countless hours of care from a dedicated volunteer, Grey has fully recovered and his personality shines through. Even though he’s timid, he loves playing with other dogs, regardless of their size or breed. A calm, stable home is essential for him, ideally without young children or a lot of commotion. Grey will thrive best with an experienced adopter who understands his special needs and gives him a gentle, slow approach. Despite his past trauma, he allows leashes, pets, and even lifts. Loud noises and sudden movements can be alarming for him, so a peaceful environment is necessary. Grey's conditions include being neutered, fully vaccinated, and crate trained. He has shown some natural house training abilities but may need a refresher once he settles into a new home. Grey is truly a touching companion who will reward your patience with love and affection.
