About Alfred
Alfred, or Alfie as he's fondly called, is an affectionate senior dog in search of a loving home. This sweet gentleman may be in his golden years, but he's still full of love and companionship to share. He prefers quiet moments with his people, whether it's lounging on the couch, enjoying a good book, or simply soaking up the day's warmth. Life in the shelter has brought out some anxiety in Alfie, particularly when left alone. Because of this, he would thrive in a household with stay-at-home parents, retirees, or someone who can spend ample time with him. He needs a cozy environment where he can feel safe and cherished. Alfie has been neutered, is house trained, and he's doing well with leash training. He gets along with dogs who know to respect his space and appears comfortable around cats too. This little guy is searching for a soft place to landβa comfy bed, a caring family, and a peaceful retirement filled with love. If you're ready to offer a deserving senior the retirement he deserves, Alfie can't wait to meet you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
