About Orion

Orion is a brave little male kitten who came into our care as a stray with a severely broken front leg. After an amputation, the skilled team at Prince William County Animal Services Center gave him a new chance at life. He’s only 2 months old and currently weighs around 2 lbs, but he's ready to shine. Despite his challenges, Orion quickly adapted. On his first day at home, he seemed fragile, but by evening he was sitting confidently with his three bright white paws, reminiscent of Orion’s Belt. In just a few days, he started exploring, learning to walk, and discovering his playful side. His journey hasn’t been without hesitations, especially around new experiences, but he’s well on his way to being a delightful companion for his future family. Orion loves to play, run, and hop around. He also enjoys snuggling up close. As a tripawd, he does need extra care when adapting to his new life. It’s best to introduce him to new environments gradually and avoid homes with unfamiliar dogs. He responds beautifully to guidance, and it’s essential to maintain a healthy weight for him by feeding him primarily wet food. With a gentle approach, you’ll find that Orion is full of personality and charm, ready to fill your home with joy. This resilient boy is neutered and ready for his forever home the same day he’s adopted. Start your journey together with this special kitten!
