About Beetle

Meet Beetle! Beetle is a charming 2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix, weighing around 60 lbs. This neutered, house-trained pup is an affectionate companion, known for his goofy antics and endearing personality. He has become quite the local celebrity, joining his foster family on walks to school, where families, kids, and even crossing guards greet him with open arms—and treats! Affectionate and silly, Beetle loves soaking up attention. He has a knack for showing off his tricks like "paw" and "down," often bringing smiles to those around him. Beetle is currently honing his leash skills but can be reactive with other dogs during walks. His foster family is actively training him, and he's making wonderful progress by checking in with them more frequently. Beetle is best suited for a home with older children, where his new family can continue teaching him leash manners and basic training. He previously cohabited with another dog but wasn’t bonded. While he has a robust personality typical of a 60-lb bully breed, he is not a fan of getting wet. Rain and sprinklers are not his idea of fun, and bath time is merely tolerable for him. This lovable, intelligent dog is in search of a family that can provide structure, consistency, and affection. In return, Beetle promises to keep you laughing and will become a loyal companion. Beetle was surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him, and he's excited to find his forever home. Ready to meet Beetle? Click apply to start the adoption process.
