About Ace
Meet Ace, your future couch-cuddle companion! This handsome boy is about 2 years and 5 months old, weighing around 26 lbs. Ace, a tricolor Australian Shepherd, was a stray before finding his way into rescue. He loves being close to his people, often looking serious but is really a cuddle bug at heart. He thrives on affection and would rather share your lap than have personal space. Ace is house trained and crate trained, and he knows how to sit, although he’s still learning patience. Slow introductions to new dogs are best as he prefers to either be the only dog or has another submissive dog to share the spotlight. Ace is not suited for homes with cats and would do best in families with children aged 10 or older. This cheerful pup enjoys walks, zoomies, and playing with stuffed toys, but he’s currently on activity restrictions while recovering from heartworm treatment. Car rides are a breeze for him, making him a great travel companion. If you're looking for a devoted friend ready to be a part of your life, Ace might just be the perfect match. Ace is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. He’s waiting for a loving home in Ringwood, IL. What are you waiting for?
