Missy is a 1 year and 8 months old spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She has a short brindle coat and is house trained. Living in South Plainfield, NJ, she is affectionate, playful, and smart.

About Missy

Missy is an adorable dog and a true cuddle-bug with a playful spirit. She loves playing fetch, is food motivated, and eager to learn new tricks. Watching her goofy antics, especially when she runs with her stuffed animals, is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. Her beautiful brindle coat and soulful eyes make her quite a sight. While she's gentle and affectionate, Missy can feel anxious around new people and loud noises, so a calm, low-traffic home is ideal for her. A single person, a couple without young children, or a retiree would be perfect companions for her cuddles. Missy would thrive with access to a fenced-in yard since she can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs. She currently enjoys the company of a sweet male Cane Corso in her foster home and attends doggie daycare, where she gets along with many dogs, provided they are not reactive. Although an experienced owner would help her continue to grow, she's ready to be the princess of her new home or happily share it with another friendly and submissive male dog. This playful girl is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Click apply to start the adoption process.
