About Freya
Freya is currently in a loving foster home while she waits for the perfect family. You might second-guess her photos because she’s so adorable and photogenic, but they truly capture her charm. Freya came to Heartland Animal Shelter because her previous owner couldn't care for her anymore, and now she’s looking for a home where she’ll get the attention and patience she needs as a young puppy. Freya is a bit shy at first, especially around new people and unfamiliar environments. However, she's in experienced hands, having been placed with a foster who understands her needs. With time, she’ll show her sweet personality and dog-friendly nature. While she may not greet you right away, give her a moment, and she’ll come to you in her own time. This little chihuahua mix has a mischievous streak, too! Although she may appear petite, she can jump surprisingly high and has a playful energy waiting to burst forth. With just a little patience and love, Freya is sure to blossom into an incredible companion. If you think you could give her the caring home she needs, apply to adopt Freya today!
