About Dexter

Meet Dexter, a charming 7-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who weighs between 6-10 lbs. This little sweetheart is friendly and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and people alike. Dexter has a loving and mellow personality, simply thrilled to curl up beside you for a nice cuddle. He also enjoys playing fetch and brings the toy back excitedly for another throw. Though he experiences a bit of separation anxiety and may whine when you leave, Dexter quickly settles and waits patiently for your return. When he first arrived at the rescue, he was quite thin and is still on a journey to regain his healthy weight. His hair was shaved down due to matting, but it’s growing back, and he will soon flaunt a stunning Yorkie coat. Dexter is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and house trained. Ready to fall in love?
