About King
King is an easygoing 2-year-old dog, weighing around 92 lbs, with a gentle demeanor. He’s still gaining confidence and tends to be scared of new things, particularly loud noises. However, once he feels secure, he settles in nicely. Most of the time, King remains calm, but when excitement strikes, he can be a bit jumpy. He loves spending time outdoors, whether that’s running around the yard, going for walks, or playing fetch with his favorite frisbees and balls. Tug of war is also a favorite game for him, and he enjoys chew time with knuckle bones or hard chew toys. King is both crate and house trained, making him an easy addition to any home. He does have a prey drive, so he tends to chase squirrels, frogs, and unfortunately, cats—so a cat-free environment is recommended. Due to a sensitive stomach, he does best on sensitive stomach dog food, so it's best to avoid treats like milk bones. King would thrive in a patient home that will help him build confidence and show him the world is a safe place. With some love and understanding, he’ll become a loyal companion. He's neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention, currently being fostered in Seguin, TX. Click apply to start the adoption process.
