Spike II is a male American Staffordshire Terrier, young at 13 months, and medium-sized. He has a short coat that is a mix of gray, blue, silver, and white. Spike is vaccinated and is looking for a loving home. He's known to be affectionate, athletic, and playful, making him a great companion for active families.

About Spike II

Spike II is a lively and eager young boy, just 13 months old. Living in a household with another small dog and kids, he has developed a love for people, seeking out affection and attention. His giddy spirit makes him adventurous; he's already learned to sit and take treats gently from your hand. Unfortunately, he was surrendered when his family had to move due to space constraints and health issues. Spike gets along well with other dogs but we recommend families with young children have a fenced yard to ensure safety, as his energy and strength can be overwhelming for smaller kids. This shelter operates in a rural area with high intake rates, so providing a safe haven for these dogs is critical, and your help is appreciated. Spike II is available for adoption through Friends of Powell Co.'s Pets & County Shelter in Stanton, KY. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
