About Tex
Tex is a 2-year and 8-month-old Cattle Dog/Corgi mix, weighing in at 35 pounds. Known for his charming personality, he has short legs that add to his unique appeal. Tex was found abandoned and is now eager to find his forever home. He truly enjoys outdoor activities, making him a perfect companion for someone with a farm or access to hiking trails. This lovable guy is loyal and protective, especially around his family. While he keeps a watchful eye on things, he quickly turns into a bundle of joy when visitors come around. Tex is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to walk on a leash, showing off his athleticism along the way. After a great adventure, you can count on him to cuddle up and enjoy some relaxation time. He may be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly to those he trusts. Tex does best in adult households or with older children due to his herding instincts. While he gets along splendidly with other dogs, cats are not an option as he finds them too tempting to chase. This guy has a delightful prance that brings joy to every day. If youβre looking for a loyal friend, trail companion, or just a goofy sidekick, Tex is ready to bring love and laughter into your life. If you think Tex is the right match, please reach out to Freedom Street Rescue to start your journey together!
