About Hudson

Meet Hudson! Hudson's journey began differently than most. Found as a stray in the Greentree/Mt. Washington area of Pittsburgh, this charming gray and white boy was rescued just before a snowstorm. His timing couldn’t have been better, and now he’s ready for a new chapter. At about 1-2 years old, Hudson is a shy and somewhat independent cat. He may take time to warm up, preferring to build trust on his own terms rather than demand attention upfront. Some warm chicken or a Churu is the key to his heart! While Hudson has shown curiosity towards other cats and seems open to feline companionship, he has not yet been safely introduced to another cat. It's important to note that Hudson is Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) positive, so he needs to be in a home either alone or with other FeLV-positive cats. Plus, he should stay in a dog-free environment as he does not get along with dogs. Hudson may not be the most outgoing cat, but he deserves a chance just like any other. He’s waiting for someone patient who appreciates a more independent spirit and can let him settle in at his own pace. Sometimes, all a cat needs is a little understanding and time. Hudson is currently in the care of Darwin's Animal Rescue in Pittsburgh. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
