About Milly
Meet Milly! At three and a half years old, Milly is a gentle and affectionate girl who adores attention, treats, and playtime. She has lived with children aged 4, 8, and 11, earning a reputation as a loving family dog who enjoys being around kids. With her short brindle and brown coat, she loves to lean in for pets, nudge people for affection, and chase her favorite toys. Milly knows commands like "sit" and "shake". Fully housetrained, she rides well in the car too. Having lived previously on a farm, the busy atmosphere with machinery and visitors can be a little overwhelming for her. Milly may bark or growl when nervous, so a quieter home where she feels safe would be ideal. She will benefit from a family prepared to help her build confidence. Milly has potential to get along with another dog, but introductions should be slow, and a thoughtful separation plan is recommended. Unfortunately, she isn't suited for homes with cats, as she may chase them. This sweet girl is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. If you're looking for an affectionate companion who just needs a little extra love and patience, Milly is the one for you. Come meet Milly at the shelter or reach out for more information. Your new best friend could be waiting!
