She was found near the Sale Barn on Old Hwy 40 in Boonville, MO, and is now safe at Boonville Animal Control Shelter, but she hopes her stay here will be brief. Wednesday absolutely adores playing fetch. So much so that you might have to remind her to take a break for some water! This energetic girl would thrive in a home or on a farm with someone familiar with the needs of Border Collies. She's an intelligent dog who requires exercise, mental stimulation, and the right amount of patience. When greeting you, Wednesday has a unique style – she might smile and growl, but don’t let that fool you; she loves belly rubs and will roll over to ask for them. She's great with older children who can keep things calm and is looking for a patient family who can help her settle in.
