About Remus
Meet Remus! Remus is a striking 9-month-old mix with a unique blend of German Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Border Collie, and Australian Cattle Dog. At 40 pounds, he's searching for an active family ready to keep up with his energetic spirit and curious mind. When he first arrived in foster care, Remus faced some serious challenges, being severely emaciated. Thanks to consistent care and love over the last three months, he has made a remarkable recovery and is thriving. This smart boy is eager to learn new things and is highly food-driven, making training an enjoyable experience for him. Remarkably, he even knows how to use a slat mill to burn off some of his working-dog energy. Remus is friendly with dogs of all sizes and enjoys playtime. Heβs also surprisingly gentle with cats and can engage in playful interactions. With respectful, dog-savvy children ages 10 and up, he navigates excitement well but values his personal space. As he continues to learn, heβs improving on leash manners and basic commands like sit and wait. Remus has a quirky love for gently inspecting and licking your toes, making him all the more endearing. Heβs looking for a compassionate, active family ready to invest time in his ongoing training and enrichment. Remus is ready to find his forever home! The adoption fee is $450, which includes age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, and neutering. Click apply to start the adoption process.
