After overcoming significant medical challenges, including a forelimb amputation, Phoenix shows remarkable strength and resilience. Having three legs doesn’t hold him back; he continues to forge ahead. He will require ongoing care for his heartworm treatment during his recovery. Phoenix seeks an adult home or a family with older, dog-savvy children. Young kids aren’t a good fit for him. He does best with someone who can provide structure and understands his protective nature.
