Buddy is a 10-month-old neutered male mix of Border Collie and Australian Shepherd, ready for adoption. He’s bursting with energy and needs an active household where he can run, play, and thrive. This high-strung pup is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn, making him a perfect candidate for training. Buddy loves kids and is working on his leash manners; he is also getting the hang of keeping his kennel tidy, sitting on command, and fetching! A car ride? He’s all in! While Buddy does well with other dogs, he prefers to be the boss, as he grew up alone and is still figuring out social cues. It’s best for him to be in a home without cats to avoid temptation. After being surrendered by an older couple who couldn't keep up, he’s ready to find an active companion or family. His adoption includes his vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test—he’s negative!—a rabies vaccine, and microchip, so he can go to his new home on the same day.
